‘Don’t judge a book by its cover!’ Remember that as your boat pulls in to Coron Town proper. Whilst it might look like a standard village, with no beach and run-down buildings on the waterfront there is so much to explore. Coron Town is a cheap place to stay and for some travellers it will be the perfect base. For other travellers, with more time on their hands, there are more tranquil and serene places around the island. There are plenty of snorkelling trips on offer, however, you may find yourself on a boat with 20 other tourists. Venture a bit outside of Coron Town and ask around to find your perfect adventure.
